Job Description
3. Ability to influence and get the distributors to take the appropriate decision beneficial for the market.
4. Ability to work closely with partners who are retail/franchisee partners in multiple markets.
5. Responsibility of working closely on strategies around merchandising, product selection, brand elevation, approving new locations and store designs.
6. Limited requirement to find new partners. The role will involve ensuring the business grows incrementally over time without making any changes to the core distribution setup.
7. Start with understanding the market, assortment, and distribution model.
8. Building a consultative relationship with distributors and gain credibility.
The Successful Applicant
9. Total 12-14 years of experience.
10. Someone who is naturally curious and comes with an entrepreneurial approach.
11. Maximum tenure of the candidate in the premium footwear brands.
12. Experience across merchandising, and sales is essential.
13. Someone with strong selling skills, strategic in thinking and the ability to drive agendas with external stakeholders.
14. Someone who is driven, self- motivated and is looking to work in an organisation which rewards high performance. Passion for managing complexity is very critical as selling their brands is not as easy as it is for the top few in the category.
15. Some who is very comfortable with data and understands numbers.
