Payroll & Benefits Specialist
Salary: £35,000 DOE + up to 12% OTE Bonus. Contract: 12–18 month fixed‑term.
Overview
Join a small, collaborative team to deliver the full end‑to‑end payroll cycle and administer employee benefits programmes for Michelin.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the full end‑to‑end payroll process accurately and on time.
* Produce accurate and timely payroll payments using the payroll management system.
* Process employee leave to ensure precise accountability of payroll exceptions.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies professionally and address employee queries.
* Identify and alert management of non‑compliance or data quality issues.
* Organise and archive payroll documentation in line with company and regulatory guidelines.
* Administer employee benefits programmes, managing enrolments, terminations, transfers, and changes.
* Support confidential administrative tasks related to payroll and benefits.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of proven experience managing the entire end‑to‑end payroll cycle.
* Comfortable working with payroll legislation, statutory payments and compliance requirements.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.
* High levels of professionalism, confidentiality and a collaborative mindset.
Working Arrangement
This is a hybrid role. Working‑from‑home days are agreed within the team, with the majority of time spent on‑site. Optional five‑day on‑site availability is also available.
