We are recruiting for a Paediatric Diabetes Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are looking for an administrator to provide support to the paediatric epilepsy nurses and consultants and to families who use the service.
You will provide efficient administrative and secretarial support in all aspects of the department’s work as directed by the service coordinator.
The working days for this role will be a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm, but could be flexible/accommodating if it suits the service needs.

Main duties of the job
The administrator will support the organisational development of the paediatric diabetes service, and support the team in delivering an excellent service to children and young people with diabetes and their families.
As the administrator you will be taking phone calls, monitoring the email account, booking appointments, liaising with the nurses and consultants and keeping the databases up to date.
Communicate sensitive information to patient’s families and know when to involve the CYPD MDT team members as appropriate.
Maintain medical records systems by filing and keeping an accurate record of the movement of medical records and the case note tracking system on IFIT. Tracking notes to relevant areas /s on the Lorenzo
system and putting patient data, clinics and outcomes on the system.
