Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Test Architect to join a department to assist with shaping and delivering missile-level test architecture across a growing portfolio.
This role performs the duties of a lead test architect and reports to the senior leadership within the technical function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Test Architects within the Missile Design function
* Provide functional leadership and support to departmental heads
* Own the specification and delivery of missile test equipment
* Ensure testability is embedded throughout product design
* Generate and manage lower-level test requirements, including test access, BIT coverage and factory test functionality
* Analyse and model systems to determine test coverage and generate diagnostic instructions
* Work closely with design leadership to make cost versus test coverage trade-offs
The ideal candidate would have:
* Experience working in a complex engineering environment
* Exposure to requirements capture, project oversight, planning and stakeholder management
* Experience influencing cross-functional teams
* Experience contributing to or leading engineering test strategies
The ideal candidate must have:
* Strong background in test equipment design, electronics testing or product testability
* Proficiency in at least one area: digital electronics, analogue electronics, microprocessor systems, electronics testing or test equipment design
* Proven people leadership experience
