The successful candidate will lead business development efforts, drive sales, and manage marketing and customer service activities in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the UK market;
* Create business and regulatory plans for the UK and meet operational goals;
* Identify opportunities from marketing leads and manage local partners;
* Report market information to headquarters in a timely manner;
* Coordinate with other departments to establish operational processes for the UK;
* Enhance brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK;
* Provide excellent customer service and prompt solutions to inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills
* At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD products;
* BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus;
* Knowledge of the UK molecular pathology market; international experience preferred;
* Strong communication and presentation skills;
* Strategic and creative thinking with attention to detail;
* Motivated and energetic in finding new business opportunities;
* Familiar with European import product sales models;
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
