Salary: £134,900 - 134,900 per year Requirements: We require at least 5 years of experience in Network Engineering roles. We require demonstrable experience configuring network systems, including switching, routing, firewalling, load balancing, and voice. We require Cisco CCNA-level qualifications or vendor-equivalent accreditations. We require knowledge of network security, virtual private networking (VPN), converged networks, and broadband technologies. We require the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network infrastructures for enterprise organisations. We require an understanding of racking, cabling, containment systems, and standards. Subject Matter Expert experience in one or more areas is an advantage. Responsibilities: We work closely with client project managers, SMEs, and architects to deliver projects on time and above expectation. We work closely with support teams and other functions to ensure seamless integration of project work into the run service. We undertake equipment installations and configuration activities for complex or high business impact solutions. We perform infrastructure surveys, both wired and wireless. We support office moves, adds, and changes. We perform technical refresh activities for network hardware and cabling. We configure core infrastructure components such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and voice systems. We perform impact assessments on large or complex networks. We carry out testing to pre-determined plans and analyse the results.
