We’re recruiting a Food Technology Teacher in Middlesbrough
Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for flexible, rewarding work?
We’re working closely with a secondary school in Middlesbrough who are seeking dedicated teacher to deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons.
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience)
What we’re looking for
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ideally
* Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom and practical lesson management skills
* Confidence managing health & safety within a food tech environment
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A proactive, professional approach with a commitment to inclusive education
* Ability to provide two recent references
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned Food Technology lessons across KS3–KS5
* Create a positive, structured, and safe practical learning environment
* Support pupil engagement and academic progress
* Adapt teaching approaches to suit a variety of learning needs
* Maintain excellent behaviour management
* Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
* Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
