The Role
* Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, taking responsibility for both high-level compliance and complex advisory projects.
* Advise on a range of technical matters, including capital allowances, group restructuring, and succession planning.
* Act as the primary point of contact for your clients, building long-term relationships and understanding their commercial goals.
* Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by the wider team, ensuring technical accuracy and identifying planning opportunities.
* Support the Partners with business development initiatives and mentor junior staff to help them progress technically.
About You
* Qualified (CTA) with a strong background in corporate tax within a practice environment.
* Experienced in managing a client portfolio and comfortable dealing directly with business owners and Finance Directors.
* Technically sound with a broad understanding of UK tax legislation and a proactive approach to identifying tax-saving opportunities.
* A clear communicator who can translate complex tax jargon into practical, actionable advice for clients.
* Someone who enjoys the collaborative nature of a regional office and is keen to contribute to the growth of the Truro team.
