As a Band 5 Staff Nurse within HCOP, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care while playing a key role in supporting patients and their families through their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional nursing care that aligns with trust values and standards.
* Monitor and assess patients, providing holistic care that meets their individual needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care across the division.
* Promote patient safety and well‑being.
* Ensure patients and their relatives/carers are fully informed of treatment, progress, discharge plans, and after‑care.
* Report all accidents, hazards, incidents, and complaints in accordance with Trust policies and assist in investigations as required.
* Demonstrate appropriate assertiveness and ability to challenge others when the rights of patients and others may be infringed.
* Promote interdisciplinary working with outcomes aimed at the best interests of patients and cohesive service delivery.
* Generate and sustain relationships that promote dignity, rights and responsibilities.
* Be accountable for own practice and for delegating care to more junior colleagues, support workers and students.
