Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: Educated to master’s degree (Level 7) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
* Essential: PMO-related professional qualification (attained or working towards)
* Essential: Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
Desirable
* Coaching and/or Mediation qualification
Knowledge
* Highly developed knowledge of managing successful programmes and projects
* Knowledge of performance management requirements and processes
* Knowledge of tendering processes in relation to procurement and re-procurement of services
* Significant managerial knowledge
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience
* Significant operational management experience, including leading and supervising complex teams
* Experience at a senior operational management level in a provider organisation
* Experience providing strategic and professional leadership for large and complex programmes and projects
* Experience of working with Directors, senior managers and senior clinicians to develop/implement client-responsive services
* Experience of multi-agency and stakeholder management
* Experience of working with commissioners and contract management in a provider organisation
