This role presents a fantastic opportunity to shape our multidisciplinary Mechanical and Automotive Engineering education. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and leading cutting‑edge modules on our engineering programmes, providing mentorship to other staff and students, and contributing to research initiatives and external collaborations. Significant experience in designing and conducting practical experiments in mechatronics or related fields, both for teaching and research purposes, is essential.

About You

The appointee will be part of a team supporting delivery of Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace degree‑related modules.

We particularly welcome candidates who identify as female or Global Majority. The School of Engineering is committed to creating a safe and inclusive working environment for all, and we are passionate about building teams with diversity of thought and lived experience. Our School has held the Athena Swan Bronze award since 2015 and continues to seek this charter mark.
