The Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated and inspiring Science Teacher with QTS to join a supportive and forward-thinking educational setting in Somerset. This full-time role is available for an immediate start, working with learners aged 11–19 across secondary and further education. About the Setting This well-regarded provision is known for its inclusive, student-centred approach and strong commitment to personalised learning. It supports young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism, PMLD, SLD, MLD, and associated visual and complex needs. The environment is carefully structured to promote independence, confidence, and meaningful progress, with a collaborative team ethos at its core. The Role Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons tailored to a range of abilities Differentiate learning to meet complex and individual needs Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development Work closely with support staff and specialists to enhance learning outcomes Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience or strong interest in working with students with additional needs Patient, adaptable, and creative teaching approach Strong behaviour management and communication skills Why Join Teaching Personnel?
