We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join a team of distinguished hospitality enthusiasts and support the Finance Manager at The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton. The successful candidate will based at the hotel, reporting into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing the hotel’s accounting operations, maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing timely and accurate financial reports to hotel management. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: In conjunction with the Finance Manager, oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting Implement financial policies and procedures to maintain financial control and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to the hotel's management and ownership Collaborate with the Finance Manager and management team to prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to department heads and management Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard the hotel's assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting Conduct regular financial audits to identify and rectify discrepancies or irregularities Assist in ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors for tax filings Review invoices and contracts for accuracy and compliance with hotel policies Support the Finance Manager to coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual financial audits EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant professional certification is a plus 3 years of hotel finance experience Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Good knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills THE PERKS Company discount on rooms.
