About Our Client Our client is a trusted provider of high-quality care for children and young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN). They are opening a brand-new 3-bed Ofsted-registered childrens home in South Norwood, supporting individuals aged 1618 years.

The Role Registered Manager (Childrens Home) Were looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our clients new Ofsted childrens home. You will ensure the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care while maintaining full regulatory compliance and inspiring excellence in your team.
Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the home in line with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes Regulations .
Recruit, train, and lead a motivated and caring staff team.
Develop and oversee individual care plans tailored to each young persons needs.
Promote and maintain the highest safeguarding and welfare standards.
Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external partners.
Monitor quality, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, resources, and performance effectively.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and records.
About You Were seeking a committed, compassionate leader who can bring expertise and heart to this new service.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in a management or senior role within a childrens home or similar setting.
Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, or SEN .
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Excellent understanding of Ofsted standards and safeguarding procedures .
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Empathetic, child-centred approach with a focus on positive outcomes.
Experience with Ofsted inspections is highly desirable.
