Our client is a global leader within their industry, headquartered in Staverton, Cheltenham. They have successfully delivered over 300 facilities across Europe, North America, Australia, and Africa. They are currently seeking an experienced individual to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves collecting all technical documentation, working collaboratively with the team, sharing knowledge and best practices. The candidate will ensure accuracy, proper distribution, compliance, version control, confidentiality, and maintenance of documentation for easy retrieval.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all technical files and drawings are correctly filed and named.
2. Collate and develop testing packs and technical handover packs.
3. Ensure technical files and drawings are processed correctly through the project workflow.
4. Expedite late documentation from clients, suppliers, internal teams, and consultants.
5. Upload and review markups and comments collaboratively.
6. Promote collaboration among clients, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors.
7. Notify relevant groups and individuals of files and drawings requiring their attention.
8. Implement a process to assign specific files and drawings to relevant reviewers.
9. Maintain a workflow and review process that is simple and effective for the project.
10. Collate technical and commissioning documentation at project handover.
11. Download and publish documents/drawings according to project procedures in coordination with the Technical Project Manager.
12. Track all incoming and outgoing technical documentation, including logging in registers and issuing.
13. Expedite late documentation from clients and subcontractors.
Candidate Attributes:
* Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing industries.
* Previous experience in document control.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
