Staithe Surgery is looking to recruit an advanced nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to compliment our friendly, patient focused team in our rural practice based on the Norfolk Broads. The role is for a minimum of 4 sessions a week (2 days a week). The successful candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds. As an experienced healthcare professional, they will have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients. The post-holder will: Demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service providing advice, education and support to staff, patients, their families and carers. Be practising autonomously as an advanced nurse practitioner within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. This will encompass the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the directorate. Support new ways of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient-focused service, and will ensure the safe treatment, referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in their area. Have responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
