What you will do
* Lead on complex cases, working with young people who face high levels of risk or vulnerability, including those dealing with exploitation, homelessness, or mental health concerns.
* Provide statutory support in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000, Children and Social Work Act 2017, and related guidelines such as Pathway Planning.
* Ensure thorough pathway plans are created and reviewed regularly, collaborating closely with young people and other professionals.
* Mentor and provide supervision to Social Workers and Personal Advisors, offering professional leadership and modeling good practice.
* Take an active role in multi-agency planning and safeguarding meetings such as LAC Reviews and MAPPA.
* Contribute to audits, service improvement plans, and monitor performance, supporting the Team Manager in embedding good practice.
* Stay current on relevant legislation, policy changes, and best practice to ensure your knowledge is always up to date.
