Job Responsibilities
1. Plan, organise and structure operational resources to successfully fulfil customer orders.
2. Stabilise operational teams and resources including picking, packing, assembly, finishing, and manufacturing to ensure KPIs are achieved and maintained.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards to consistently provide exceptional quality products and services.
4. Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
5. Manage, lead, and develop staff.
6. Implement production systems, processes, and disciplines including planning, scheduling, and sequencing to ensure optimal use of resources and on-time delivery of customer orders.
7. Implement industry-leading manufacturing practices covering all manufacturing, finishing, assembly, packing, and shipping functions.
8. Oversee budget and cost control.
9. Schedule production and assembly activities to comply with QA and OTIF requirements.
The Candidate
1. Minimum five years of proven success in a similar production management role.
2. Proven engineering background with career progression from the shop floor.
3. Experience in various manufacturing techniques such as machining, metal finishing, coating, and spraying.
4. Successfully led improvement projects in high-demand, job-lot production environments.
The Package
Offering up to £75,000 per annum plus an extremely competitive benefits package.
