The Role The successful candidate will take ownership of a high-volume accounts payable workload, ensuring invoices and supplier accounts are processed accurately and efficiently within defined deadlines.
Key responsibilities will include:
Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching, batching, and coding invoices to the correct nominal accounts
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Managing supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth invoice approval processes
The Candidate This opportunity will suit an Accounts Payable Clerk or Purchase Ledger Clerk who enjoys working within a structured finance environment and takes pride in accuracy and consistency.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
Previous experience within an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
