This is an excellent opportunity for an exciting and varied role in a committed, collaborative and warm pastoral team. As Safeguarding Officer, you will promote the welfare and safety of pupils by training pupils, staff and parents in safeguarding matters. As a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will liaise with external agencies and lead on the management and progress of pupils of safeguarding concern. To be successful, you will have expertise in safeguarding, child protection and related areas, and may come from a an educational, police or social care background. You should have an appropriate qualification and/or extensive experience in safeguarding child welfare. This role is term time plus 15 - 30 days, depending on candidate, working full-time, on site with flexibility for hybrid working during the holidays.
