Juice is delighted to be supporting a professional services organisation, in central Bath, with their search for a Credit Controller. This role has arisen due to growth and is available at an exciting time to join an evolving and dynamic business.
DAY TO DAY:
1. Contacting customers over the phone and email for outstanding charges and the collection of late payments
2. Using negotiation skills to engage with customers and devise suitable outcomes
3. Arranging collection of assets via third parties if needed
4. Processing novation requests
5. Completing admin as part of the process of the contract as needed, during the life of the contract, ensuring all data is uploaded onto relevant systems completely, accurately and in accordance with GDPR guidelines
6. Monitoring customer payments
7. Dealing with customer service enquiries via telephone, email, and post
8. Escalating issues and complaints promptly within agreed regulatory timescales
9. Adhering to clients’ data protection policies and procedures
10. Adhering to the clients’ compliance policies as relevant to the role
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
11. 2 years’ experience in a busy credit and/or collections environment
12. A background in consumer finance or credit control within a regulated environment
13. Experience managing a high volume of phone calls
14. Proactive and positive approach
15. IT literate able to use Outlook, Word, Excel
16. Confident communicator who can navigate a range of conversations
17. Great attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
