We make products that we are proud of.We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee and coordinate our daily warehouse activities at our facilities based in Carronshore, Falkirk.Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the warehouse team, this role requires maintaining a positive working relationship with all colleagues, internal and external customers daily.You will be expected to implement quality and customer service standards in line with our various ISO systems and ultimately, you should be able to ensure the daily workload is carried out by meeting performance expectations. You must be able to adopt a customer centricity approach to all daily decisions whilst having the core business in mind. A good level of IT literacy is essential as we use a full stock control management system as well as operate office 365.The Warehouse Lead is expected to drive continuous improvement on site and have the ability to engage with their team to ensure projects are landed positively and timely.This is a hands on role - having a Reach & Counterbalance truck license would be an advantage.Duties include:Deal with all staff issues in accordance with Company Policies and ProceduresProactively use manpower to ensure each area of the warehouse is coping with its workload on a day to day basisChecking and signing off driver paperworkEnsure stock inventory is accurateTo maintain a clean and safe working environment and continually improve housekeeping and basic operations controlsTo operate warehousing and distribution in line with the approved policies and proceduresTo effectively control finished goods stock in the warehouse in line with the approved policies and proceduresEnsure health and safety policies are adhered toManaging to all KPI’s and OTIF targetsLeading staff meetings ensuring all communication is passed appropriately.Liaising with HR/PayrollManage a team of warehouse staff over two locations. Allocation of daily task including, receipting in a timely fashion, storage, picking and shipping. Controlling inventory accuracy and integrity of stock. Carry out investigation and any corrective action required. Recruiting, training and motivating staff. Reporting to senior management, performance, losses and productivity. ·Utilise space and layout to meet the business demands.
