Junior Payroll Coordinator - Remote working
Daily activities of the payroll function to facilitate the timely delivery of payroll and monthly/quarterly reporting in an efficient manner.
Responsible for data input for EMEA payroll to Payroll Providers.
Payroll end to end processing: from receiving data from HR to preparing journal entries for GL team to post for month end
Assist with audit queries
1. Participates in ad hoc projects
2. Research payroll tax issues and handle inquiries from taxing authorities.
3. Reconciliation and liaison with HR/Benefits for pensions and other benefit control accounts, accrued vacation etc.
4. Documents payroll processes and procedures and ensuring they are kept up to date.
5. Liaise between payroll services, internal teams, service providers and regulatory entities to ensure system interface and reporting requirements deadlines are met without delay.
6. Integral part of the commission/bonus process to facilitate accurate data reporting and timely payment
7. Assist with ADP GL’s integration to Workday.
8. Ensure the timely preparation, reporting and payment of all statutory requirements to various government agencies in EMEA, payroll taxes, social security, pensions etc.
9. Ensure accurate and timely accruals for vacation, sick leave and maternity leave.
10. Assist with quarterly process audits between Payroll and Workday.
Knowledge/ Skills Required:
11. Experience working with Local Payroll service providers in the EMEA region.
12. Computer literate and competent in Excel. Knowledge of ADP (iHCM & Streamline) and Workday advantageous
13. Ability to work with diverse groups of different cultures and backgrounds and manage them to their deliverables within a given timeframe
14. Demonstrates motivation and drive, with hands on approach, in an international and fast-paced growth environment
15. Ability to handle multiple changing priorities and strong attention to detail.
16. An understanding of the German language would be advantageous

25. Minimum of 2 years working in EMEA Payroll would be advantageous
