Leads and manages the full examinations cycle in line with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
Maintains exceptional attention to detail, ensuring entries, timetables, documentation and results are accurate and compliant.
Communicates clearly and supportively with students, staff, parents and external agencies.
Remains composed and solutions‑focused under pressure, especially during exam seasons.
Builds strong working relationships across the Academy and provides guidance in all matters related to examinations.
Understands the importance of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism in every aspect of the role.
Leads, trains and supports a team of invigilators, modelling high standards at all times.

About The Role
As our Exam Officer, you will be responsible for the planning, administration and delivery of all internal and external examinations across the school. Your work will ensure:
Full compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body expectations.
Secure storage, controlled processes and accurate record‑keeping.
Well‑organised timetables, seating plans, staffing and rooming.
Effective coordination of access arrangements in collaboration with the SENDCo.
Smooth management of results days, post‑results services and communication with all stakeholders.
A highly professional, calm and supportive exam environment for every student.
You will also lead the school's invigilation team — recruiting, training and deploying invigilators for all examination periods.
