Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to lead and manage activities that promote children's development and well-being.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2-4 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that support the development of children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive skills.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents about their child's achievements.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the nursery operates smoothly and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Level 3 or above qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
* A clear enhanced DBS is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a stimulating environment for young learners.
