Role Overview:
New Model Introduction are looking for a Test Engineer to join the dynamic team. The role will focus on the development of manufacturing test systems whilst working challenging and varied, multi-disciplinary environment with cutting edge technologies. Being a Test Engineering will involve using your imagination, innovation, creativity and to successful work within a team to introduce new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design test systems to specification
2. Schedule workload to deliver test system
3. Providing input during DFM (Design for Manufacture) evaluations
4. Analytical analysis (& presentation) of test data
5. Study of Product Operation
6. Build and introduce test system into production
7. Produce Jig handover document
8. Train production Technicians
9. Communicate with designer on technical issues
10. Lead Engineering Team for New Model/ Projects
Essential Criteria:
11. Relevant degree in an electronics/electrical engineering.
12. Able to work as part of a dedicated team with strong communication skills.
13. Able to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
14. Able to work autonomously where required.
15. Self-motivated.
16. Innovative and creative with the passion for continuous improvement.
Desirable Criteria:
17. High Level Programming Languages C, C++.
18. Working with embedded microcontrollers.
19. Communication Protocols (e.g. RS-232, RS-422, TCP, CAN, MODBUS, I2C).
20. Basic Networking Knowledge.
21. Electronic circuit design knowledge / PWB Design.
