The opportunity:
The Land Ceptor System of Systems organisation is growing rapidly to support export contracts and product evolution to enhance capabilities for our customers. As a System of Systems engineer, your primary objective is to support the functional integration of the Land Ceptor product into a wider Ground Based Air Defence Weapon System context.
You will have experience in functional design and/or integration, demonstrating an understanding of integrating complex systems into larger system contexts. This role involves working with our customer to support system requirements and architecture definition, while collaborating with internal multidisciplinary teams to develop a product that meets these needs.
We seek flexible and motivated candidates to work collaboratively with customers, industry partners, and internal teams to develop solutions for current and future programmes. The work is varied, offering opportunities to develop a broader understanding of multiple engineering disciplines and contribute to critical programme delivery through system architectural design and requirements definition.
What we're looking for from you:
* Experience in developing and integrating complex systems, preferably in the defence industry
* Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies
* Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively to various stakeholders
* Experience developing requirement sets and collaborating with stakeholders including System Design Authorities and Government organisations
* Project engineering knowledge to design and deliver work packages
* Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody
