Are you passionate about working with young people and exploring a career in education? We're offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring educators to join a supportive secondary school in Warrington as a Trainee Teaching Assistant this September.
This is an ideal role for individuals looking to build experience in the classroom before moving into teaching, pastoral support, special educational needs (SEND), or educational psychology.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups
* Working closely with pupils who need additional academic or emotional support
* Helping prepare engaging resources and classroom displays
* Assisting with behaviour management and monitoring pupil progress
* Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment
* Taking part in professional development and ongoing training opportunities

* Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
* Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
* Receptive to feedback and keen to grow professionally
Desirable (But Not Essential):
* Any experience working with children or young people (e.g., volunteering, youth work, childcare)
* A genuine interest in education or youth development
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
