About the Team
Join the Onboard Services (OBS) Administration team at Worcester! Reporting directly to the OBS Management team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our local team. You'll assist Lead Hosts, Revenue protection inspectors, Train Managers, and Drivers.
About the Role
This is a varied and dynamic role within our busy administration office. You'll help ensure our front-line colleagues have the equipment and support they need to succeed all while maintaining a safe and GDPR-compliant office environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Order, maintain, and manage crew equipment and uniforms
* Prepare and distribute important colleague information
* Ensure GDPR compliance across all office operations
* Maintain notice boards with relevant updates and information
* File and maintain crew records on Paper Vision
* Attend confidential meetings across the GWR network, taking accurate notes and minutes
* Report information to other departments via internal systems
* Take messages and provide support for OBS Managers in their absence
* Support colleagues with problem-solving and solution-finding
What We’re Looking For
* Confident in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications
* Experienced with ordering systems and office administration
* Skilled in minute-taking and note-taking in confidential meetings
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment
* Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, “can-do” attitude
* Professional, detail-oriented, and presenting a high standard of personal appearance
