Onsite working - Banbury
Outside IR35, 45 hrs pw

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a climate tech product manufacturer, based in Banbury, who are seeking a Programme Quality Engineer to join their team
Job Description
As Programme Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
* Act as the quality lead for automotive programmes, ensuring compliance
* Develop and execute Programme Quality Plans, aligned with APQP and PPAP requirements
* Work independently, to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and lead root cause analysis
* Monitor programme KPIs, quality metrics (e.g., PPM, RPN, RFT, defect trends), and escalate issues
* Ensure quality readiness at key programme milestones (e.g., Gate Reviews, DV/PV build, SOP).
Qualifications / Skills needed
* Bachelor's Degree, in Engineering, Quality or a related technical discipline.
* 3+ years of experience, in a quality engineering or programme quality role
* Proven experience with ISO 9001IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving skills using tools such as 8D, DMAIC, and SPC.
* Proficient in quality systems, data analysis, and MS Office and CAD/PLM
