Our client, a Legal 200 and Top Tier Legal 500 firm based in Reading is looking for a Family Solicitor to join their well established team, focusing on HNW privately funded matters. With a strong focus on mediation, including complex financial and child matters, this is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor that enjoys an interesting caseload.
Current expansion within the team means that they are interested in hearing from 1-4 PQE Solicitors, coming from strong Legal 500 firm or family boutiques, and experienced in HNW family matters. Accessible by car or rail from London, in renumeration they offer an excellent work/life balance (generally 2 days a week in-office), a competitive salary, and excellent progression/support.
The role
This role involves providing a high-quality legal service to HNW and UHNW clients across all aspects of family law matters:
* Manage a caseload of matters including divorce, spousal maintenance, coercive behaviour, cohabitation agreements, financial matters, domestic violence, family mediation, pre-nups and post-nups and legal separation.
* Support senior solicitors and partners won complex matters when necessary.
* Assist junior legal professionals and help with the continued development with the team.
* Communicate clearly and develop a strong base of return clients.
* Research appropriate case law and provide high quality technical advice as needed.
What they are looking for
* UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX member of 1-4 years PQE (other levels will be considered on a case by case basis).
* Experience in private family law within a reputable team, ideally with experience assisting HNW and UHNW clients.
* Strong academics from a reputable university.
* Friendly demeanor with an interest in assisting with charitable firm events.
* An enthusiasm for personal development and family law.
