Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm

Long Term Futures is seeking a proactive and committed Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage Two in a welcoming Junior School in Kings Norton. This long-term role offers the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
About the Role
You will play a vital part in delivering small group and one-to-one interventions to support progress in core subjects, with a particular focus on SATs preparation and children working below age-related expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading academic interventions in maths and English across Key Stage Two
Supporting pupils with SEN to access learning through differentiated strategies
Assisting children who require additional support with confidence, focus, and behaviour
Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver targeted support
Helping children develop both academically and emotionally through structured supportWe're looking for someone who:
Has experience delivering interventions in KS2, especially for SATs preparation
Has supported children working below age-related expectations, including those with SEN
Understands the UK Key Stage Two curriculum
Holds a relevant TA qualification or degree
Is confident managing behaviour in a calm, supportive way
Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive teamAbout the School
