Job Description:

Are you an ambitious Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic MEP (Building Services) division in our Leeds office .

As a Senior to Principal Electrical Engineer, youll be instrumental in shaping the success of our projects. Your key responsibilities will include taking ownership of the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services for diverse, multi-disciplinary projects across various building sectors.

Youll also be responsible for producing comprehensive design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules. Additionally, youll support critical project management tasks such as timely invoicing, debt chasing, managing work in progress (WIP), and forward workload/resource planning for your projects, and youll mentor our talented graduates and apprentices, actively supporting their learning and development.

Our MEP team are specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design. Were dedicated to bringing buildings to life and creating award-winning, high-performance environments that enhance the built environment. We work across a broad spectrum of sectors, including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.

Building performance modelling and optimisation

Carbon verification and validation strategies

Daylight and sunlight studies

Sustainability benchmarking and environmental assessments

Strategic utility management services

ABOUT YOU

To excel in this role, youll need:

A relevant qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors, or Masters degree in electrical engineering or building services. Chartered status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.

Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer, with a demonstrable track record in the UK of leading electrical (and ideally M&E) delivery on a variety of mainstream building services projects.

Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, and Amtech, coupled with strong experience working collaboratively with architects in a design-centred role.
