Deputy Home Manager – Stourbridge
Up to £50k DOE
Experts2care are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a medium-sized residential home. The home provides an exceptional standard of specialist dementia care to its residents, with a focus on nurturing each individual to achieve personal goals and to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. The home is currently residential, seeking to register as nursing next year. The home is owned by a well-established and growing independent care group with other local homes in their portfolio.

What’s involved
* Taking the lead in ensuring that outstanding levels of clinical care are provided to residents at all times
* Supporting and Deputising for the Registered Manager in their absence
* Offer supervision, support and training to Senior Carer and Care Assistant colleagues
* Ensuring at all times a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors
What you’ll bring
* Previous management and elderly dementia care experience in Nursing Home settings is preferred
* Strong, supportive, and clear leadership skills
* Staff management experience
* Knowledge of drug administration protocols
* A good understanding and experience of CQC and CHC standards
* Sound understanding of relevant Clinical Governance standards and documentation
* Nurse qualification required and current PIN.
