About The Company Ingfield Manor School is a non-maintained special school and part of Salutem Care and Education who have services across England and Wales supporting adults and children in residential and educational Environments. About The Role Join Our Team: Teaching Assistant (Term Time Only) Reporting to: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only (39 weeks) Salary: £21,783 - £21,943 per annum (£12.21 - £12.30 per hour) (FTE: £25,397 - £25,584, dependent on experience) About the Role We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SCLN), and complex needs—helping them access education in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. What You’ll Do Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education. Provide tailored support to students individually or in small groups. Help organise classroom resources and displays to suit diverse learning needs. Assist with planning and risk assessments for on- and off-site activities. Create effective teaching aids and resources. Support students in developing independence skills, including personal care. Promote students’ physical, educational, and moral development. Contribute to student documentation and school development initiatives. Participate in staff training and development programmes.What We’re Looking For A team player with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
