Join us as Site Manager and take ownership of complex site operations, manage a skilled and motivated team, and deliver exceptional quality on some of the city’s most prestigious projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead a large on-site team, including Assistant Site Managers, Section Managers, and Subcontractor Managers, providing clear guidance and support to ensure they deliver high-quality work.
* Ensure full compliance with complex Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations, maintaining the highest standards of site safety and regulatory adherence at all times.
* Represent the project with professionalism and integrity, proactively engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the internal team.
* Act as the central point of contact for all site communication, maintaining clear, consistent, and effective interaction with the wider construction team, the client, and their representatives.
* Manage your team in accordance with HR policies and the company’s core values, fostering a positive, respectful, and high-performance site culture.
* Take full ownership of all on-site activities, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and self-reliance in driving project delivery to meet programme, quality, and commercial targets.
* Delegate effectively to Assistant, Section, Finishing, and Subcontractor Managers, monitoring progress and proactively addressing performance issues to ensure consistent delivery standards across the site.
Requirements / Qualifications
* High-end construction experience in luxury or heritage projects.
* Strong time management, coordination of complex project documentation, and oversight of team performance.
* Active participation in project meetings and strategic planning to support construction programme goals.
* Commitment to ongoing CPD and professional development.
* Solid understanding of complex technical project information, planning and programming for smooth site operations.
* Working knowledge of contractual considerations and their influence on on-site activities and decision-making.
* Proactive, professional engagement with stakeholders at all levels of the project team and client representatives.
