This will include work in the late afternoon and early evening in various locations within Burntisland. Fife Council Community Learning and Development Team are looking for a Youth Worker to work with secondary school aged young people, along with a Senior Worker and the Community Education Worker in the Burntisland area. Working as part of a small team of you would be expected to plan, organise and evaluate general activities which would be determined by the young people but would likely include activities where the young people can be registered and gain awards in the relevant areas such as Youth Achievement Awards, Natural Connections etc. The involvement of the young people will not be within a traditional drop in youth club but will involve working with small groups on issue-based matters which would include building confidence and resilience whilst addressing the issues which face young people in the community.
