The Role
Were looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join a flagship corporate site in Canary Wharf, delivering high-end hospitality across multiple outlets within one building.
This is a varied and hands-on leadership role, covering everything from fine dining and executive lunches to large-scale events, premium buffets, and the upcoming launch of a new Level 18 lounge and hospitality space.
Youll work closely with the Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team, ensuring consistency, quality, and smooth delivery across all services.
While this is a MondayFriday role, flexibility is essential, as hours may vary depending on events, functions, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations
Lead day-to-day service across meetings, boardrooms, and events
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and organisation
Train, develop, and motivate the kitchen team
Contribute to menu development, tastings, and seasonal changes
Manage stock, ordering, and waste in line with targets
Work closely with FOH and client teams to deliver a seamless service
What Were Looking For
Background in high-end kitchens (Michelin, 5* hotels, or premium corporate hospitality)
Proven experience leading teams and running service independently
Versatile chef, comfortable across different styles and service types
Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, and kitchen compliance
Calm, organised, and solutions-driven approach
Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing service demands
