Job Title: Class 2 Tipper Driver – Plant Hire (Ongoing Work)

About the Role An established and reputable Plant Hire company based in Purfleet is seeking experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers for an ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting a Tipper vehicle between Ipswich Docks and Sizewell on a daily basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for long-term, consistent work — with no handballing required .
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate a Class 2 Tipper safely and responsibly
2. Complete daily runs from Ipswich Docks to Sizewell
3. Navigate efficiently around London and surrounding areas
4. Adhere to all transport, road safety, and company regulations
5. Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Requirements
6. Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with no more than 6 penalty points
7. Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a Tipper vehicle
8. Sound knowledge of Ipswich, London routes, and surrounding areas
9. Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
10. CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
