Role SummaryWe are recruiting a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth within the Food & Beverage sector, focusing on private label and branded food manufacturers.The role is responsible for winning new business, growing existing accounts, and developing opportunities across linerless, OPP and pressure-sensitive label solutions. This is a strategic, outward-facing position requiring strong commercial acumen and experience in high-volume FMCG environments.The role will contribute to achieving growth targets of 3% above market performance and support wider EMEA commercial objectives.Key Responsibilities
1. Drive new business acquisition and account growth within Food & Beverage
2. Develop T1/T2 accounts and convert acquisition customers into long-term partners
3. Manage full sales lifecycle: prospecting → proposal → onboarding
4. Promote linerless, OPP and value-added labelling solutions
5. Build strong relationships across procurement, technical and commercial teams
6. Work cross-functionally with estimating, production, design and customer service
7. Maintain CRM accuracy and forecast pipeline performance
8. Ensure compliance with food packaging regulations and internal standards
Ideal Candidate ProfileEssential Experience
9. Proven B2B sales or business development experience
10. Strong background in Food & Beverage or FMCG
11. Experience working with private label and/or branded food customers
12. Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
13. Comfortable managing complex sales cycles
14. CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Desirable
15. Experience with linerless and/or OPP labels
16. Background in packaging, labels or print manufacturing
17. Knowledge of food safety, compliance and sustainability standards
