Job Vacancy: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) Location: Plymouth, Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £95-100 per day (Level 2) About the Role: A school in Plymouth, are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and caring level 2 teaching assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a dynamic school environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of abilities, contributing to both their academic progress and personal growth. This full-time role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference in the classroom. You will work under the direction of class teachers and the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to deliver high-quality support both in and outside of the classroom. This includes working 1:1 with pupils, supporting small groups, and providing general classroom assistance. You may also be involved in delivering specific interventions, supporting literacy and numeracy development, and helping children with additional needs access the curriculum. This is a varied and rewarding role that requires someone with energy, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping children thrive.
