We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chigwell. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire and challenge pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage academic achievement, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver creative and effective KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
3. Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to achieve strong outcomes
4. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
5. Promote high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers
7. Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities
About You
We are looking for someone who:
8. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
10. Is passionate, creative, and motivated to inspire pupils
11. Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
12. Is committed to raising standards and supporting pupil development
13. Works well as part of a collaborative team
