Overview
Randstad Education is seeking an Autism Specialist Lead Tutor to join a unique alternative provision for learners aged 16:25. This exceptional opportunity is based in a stunning converted barn, offering a tranquil learning environment surrounded by nature and open fields. This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday : Friday inline with school hours. Responsibilities
* Design and lead a bespoke, learner:led curriculum centered on the Pathways to Adulthood.
* Direct and mentor a small team of 1:1 support staff to ensure consistent, high:quality delivery.
* Create meaningful, hands:on learning experiences utilising the rural setting and wildlife.
* Manage all assessments and documentation during your dedicated weekly admin day.
* Partner with the Mental Health Support Worker to integrate emotional wellbeing into daily learning.
Preferred Skills
* Deep understanding of sensory processing, communication barriers, and complex needs.
* Ability to translate long:term goals into engaging, individualised daily projects.
* Proven experience delegating to and motivating support staff.
* Skilled in non:traditional, therapeutic teaching methods without the constraints of Ofsted.
* A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
