About the Role
Perfect Home Group are on a mission to scale our brand and make a lasting impact in the home improvement sector. To help us achieve this, we're looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive significant growth. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded full mix marketer. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and foster customer loyalty. Additionally, you will be responsible for building, managing and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership:
* Develop and implement a robust, long-term marketing strategy to achieve business goals and targets.
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability.
* Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring a high return on investment (ROI).
* Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep our marketing strategy at the forefront.
Brand Management:
* Build and strengthen the company's brand identity and reputation across all channels.
* Ensure all marketing communications are consistent with the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity.
Digital Marketing and Demand Generation:
* Oversee all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
* Develop and execute integrated campaigns to generate high-quality leads and drive customer acquisition.
* Analyse campaign performance data to optimise strategies and improve effectiveness.
Content and Communications:
* Lead the content strategy, including the creation of engaging and valuable content (e.g., blog posts, white papers, case studies, videos, webinars).
* Manage public relations (PR) and media relations to secure positive press coverage and enhance brand visibility.
* Oversee internal and external communications to ensure a consistent message.
Graphic Design:
* Design collateral for Online and Offline media
* CRO: Implement designs for split and multivariant testing
* Design Landing pages (along with the Digital Manager) for campaigns, ads and CRO initiatives.
* Ensure brand consistent is maintained within designs.
Market Research and Analytics:
* Conduct market research to identify target audiences, understand customer needs, and uncover market opportunities.
* Utilise marketing analytics and data to measure the effectiveness of all marketing activities and make data-driven decisions.
* Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance to senior leadership.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with the Sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts.
* Collaborate with the Product team to develop and launch new products and features.
* Partner with other departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven track record in a senior marketing role, with experience in developing and executing successful, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a history of leading and mentoring a marketing team.
* Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and marketing automation.
* Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier Pro)
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and inspire a team.
* Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
* Experience in managing budgets and optimizing spending for maximum return on investment.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in related field (CIM).
* A good working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot etc) Zoho would be an advantage.
