We are looking for someone to lead and support the day-to-day operations of the new business function within the Client Contact Centre. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on client engagement, handling enquiries and calls, with team leadership responsibilities. The role is key to ensuring a high-quality client experience, improving conversion rates, and supporting the development and performance of the wider team. You will be expected to lead by example in handling client enquiries via phone, email and web forms, qualifying leads, providing information about services and scheduling appointments with legal teams, ensuring a professional, empathetic and efficient client experience and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. You will also have key team leadership and operational oversight responsibilities including: providing day to day leadership and support to the new business team, act as the first point of contact for queries and escalations, conducting regular 1:1s and performance reviews, training new team members and supporting the Head of Client Contact in implementing and refining processes. You will ideally have c.3-5 years' experience in a client-facing or business development role, ideally within a professional services environment. As well as experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity, with the ability to coach and support others. Ideally you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organisation and attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems and the ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational tasks.
