12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
As an HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring best practice and compliance with company policies. This is a hands-on generalist role suitable for someone with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
-Key Responsibilities
* Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
* Support recruitment and onboarding, including drafting job descriptions, interviewing, and induction.
* Administer absence, holiday, and leave records, ensuring accurate HR documentation.
* Coordinate learning and development activities, liaising with managers and the training team.
* Support payroll processes by ensuring timely and accurate submission of HR data.
* Maintain HR systems and personnel files in line with GDPR and company standards.
* Assist with HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement and wellbeing.
* Provide guidance on performance management, probation reviews, and appraisals.
* Prepare HR reports and analytics as required.
Person Specification
* Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
* Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment is advantageous.
