As a high-profile leadership position, you will be responsible for building internal capability in data and analytics, shaping a culture of data literacy, and championing data sharing and transparency across the Council. As part of the newly established Strategy, Insight and Governance Directorate, you will help position the Directorate as the strategic core of the organisation, ensuring the data strategy, roadmap and corporate priorities are aligned and mutually reinforcing. Success in this role requires the ability to combine deep technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to create a unified approach to data. You will lead through influence as much as authority, bringing people together to co-design solutions, embed good practice, and unlock the value of data for decision-making, performance improvement and service transformation.
