We are seeking a qualified ANP with experience in general practice or urgent care settings, confident in managing a broad range of clinical presentations independently. This role is for between 30 and 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job
You'll play a vital role in offering expert clinical care, managing both acute and chronic conditions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about leadership in primary care and keen to make a real difference in community health.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, triaging and seeing patients, reviewing laboratory results, signing prescriptions (if you are an independent prescriber), and supporting urgent clinical queries.
You will have a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations, with autonomy to manage minor illnesses, acute presentations, and long-term conditions within your scope of practice. The role will be supported by our clinical team, with regular team meetings, CPD opportunities, and access to further training to help you develop your career and skills.

Job Summary

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Understanding policy developments related to primary care services, GMS contract, clinical governance, QOF, evidence-based practice, national standards, NMC Code of Conduct, and diversity issues.
Skills
* Assessing and managing patient risk effectively, IT skills, excellent communication, time management, data analysis, effective communication pathways, experience with medical software, strategic thinking, and presenting information.
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse with NMC registration.
* Recognized NP qualification at degree level or equivalent.
* Teaching or mentoring experience or qualification.
Experience
* Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
* CPD activity to maintain current knowledge and competence.
* Experience managing undifferentiated problems, prescribing, managing long-term conditions, working autonomously and in teams, and understanding health policies.
