What you’ll do on a typical day:
Safely transport ADR-classified goods lithium-ion batteries) to and from customer sites
* Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards
* Follow ADR, Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Health & Safety regulations at all times
* Accurately complete delivery documentation (ePODs, manifests, waste transfer notes if required
* Provide a professional, reliable service when representing the company to customers and site contacts
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Valid Category CE (Class 1) UK driving licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous experience with hazardous goods transport (batteries/solar panels desirable)
* Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and excellent customer service
* Ability to work independently with a professional approach
