Senior Care Assistant
Location: Ingol, Preston (PR2)
Salary: £14.55 per hour
Hours: Nights - 33 hours per week - 12 hour shifts

We are leading the search for a Senior Care Assistant to join a specialist dementia care service that caters to 80 residents across its 4 separate units with a good CQC report!
The service is modern, well equipped and ran by an exceptional leadership team who are clinically astute and knowledgeable ensuring your role as Senior Care Assistant is seamless.

Your Duties as a Senior Care Assistant:
8. Leading your own dedicated care team
9. Personalised care planning
10. Assist with the delivery of training
11. Mentor and guide the staff on a daily basis
Skills and experience required for the Senior Care Assistant role:
12. Excellent communication and written skills
13. Previous experience working within elderly care
14. Ability to work on your own initiative
15. Previous supervisory experience in a care/nursing home setting
16. NVQ level 2 in health and social care
